Oakdale Cemetery

​

In June 2013, Stephen W. Badenhop, Records Center & Archives Coordinator, obtained the complete three volumes of Oakdale Cemetery records. At the same time he received permission from the City of Marysville to give those records to the Union County Chapter, OGS. He scanned each page and gave the copies to us to use as we chose. The city continues to send monthly updates to us. So we have all recorded burials that have taken place at Oakdale Cemetery. All three volumes have been transcribed and are now on line to assist your research. Periodic updates will be added. All remains previously buried at the "Old City Cemetery" in Marysville were moved to Oakdale; so many deaths that occurred prior to 1880 appear here. Those are shown in red.
